RIGHTSURE

“We are the first fully automated AI insurance platform. We help people with All Things Insurance.”

RIGHTSURE, known for being progressive and tech-forward, is one of the most awarded insurance companies in North America. By using a unique, client-centered approach, combined with superior technology, the company presents clients with a wide range of insurance options and a seamless purchasing process. It represents clients and businesses in the United States; across 42 states.

RIGHTSURE is known for facilitating a positive, unmatched culture of workplace innovation. The company continues to earn recognition each year and just last year was named: ‘FM Global Insurance Executive of North America’, ‘Best Insurance Firm North America 2020 by Finance Magazine’, ‘5 Star Brokerage 2021 Winner’, ‘Top Insurance Workplace 2020 Best Independent Insurance Agencies to Work For’, ‘North American Insurance Firm of the Year by Insurance Magazine’, ‘2020 Top Employer by Insurance Business America IBA’, and Most Awarded Insurance Firm of the Decade.

RIGHTSURE was established in 1997 and is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona.

The Silicon Review contacted Jeffery Arnold, founder of RIGHTSURE, who spoke about how the company is making a difference in this segment and plans to stay at the forefront. Below is an excerpt.

“We, have been so very fortunate to be a recipient of so many awards, but the thing about winning is that it never gets old. It is quite addicting and pushes everyone to improve, be better, and work smarter and harder. Besides, winning is for everyone a validation that we are on the right path, working as a team.”

RIGHTSURE is the combination of an insurance agency, insurtech, and aggregator backed by powerful AI initiatives. It gives the consumers the control of insurance process. RIGHTSURE’s expertise and persistence has helped it secure millions of dollars in financing and executed reinsurance measuring with billion-dollar conglomerates. Since its establishment, the company has acquired several agencies and is also involved in joint ventures with public and privately held firms.

“One of our key breakthroughs was the invention of RightRater, a 90-second auto insurance quoting tool used by car dealerships across the US to provide instant auto insurance options to car buyers. The RightRater app, which launched five years ago, is now used by over 283 auto dealers and 60,000 policyholders across the nation – and has generated nearly $100 million in premium. And that’s just one of the ways RIGHTSURE is a little different than most independent insurance agencies.”

An Advanced Technology Platform

RIGHTSURE was one of the first insurance firms to successfully deploy service by a chatbot. The chatbot’s usage data illustrates rapid growth in 2020, partially due to customers’ repeat use.

“We were extremely happy with our Insurbot’s performance, but we never could have anticipated just how crucial and pivotal the release would be. Our chatbot has made all the difference in our ability to deliver premier service during the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Deploying artificial intelligence, Insurbot facilitates six functions around the clock: insurance quotes, payments, new insurance requests, auto ID cards, and smart handoff to one of our famously friendly humans.

“No matter who you insure with, at some point, you will re-shop your insurance. Our AI-enhanced and completely automated back-office platform solves this problem; before every policy renewal our technology requotes (re-shops) all policies.”

“When we designed the service options, we included ‘talk to my human friends’ as one of the prompts. We thought that option might get a lot of use, but in fact, fewer than 10 percent of chatbot users select that option.”

“However, we offer a unique blend between traditional and InsurTech; automated and personal; old-fashioned and modern.”

In a nutshell, RIGHTSURE is best-known for its ‘Famously Friendly Humans’ and ‘Discount Discovery Technology’ platform.

Facilitating Success

RIGHTSURE has an unabashed, unmatched, and unapologetic focus on finding the right talent and honing their skills to keep the ‘Famously Friendly Humans’ engaged and focused on helping the customers get excited about a topic and subject that is mundane for others.

The efforts of the RIGHTSURE team have been recognized by several awards (mentioned above) and accolades won over the years.

“Our team’s sacrifice and commitment have helped the brand achieve its current position. Each team member who has come to work on a project or become a part of the agency has invested their creative talents and contributed to their maximum potential. They have built a remarkable platform and high-energy work environment.”

“With a dedicated approach towards offering the best customer service, we put our customers at the top of everything. We take care of them like family.”

A Global Ambassador (Insurance) for a Reason

As a business leader, Jeff strives to communicate his vision and to gain team consensus at every step. Colleagues describe his style as down-to-earth, practical, real, trustworthy, and believable. In addition to this, he has published five books.

My first book, ‘The Art of the Insurance Deal’, is a look back on insurance firms acquired and lessons learned. It lists more failures than successes and therefore is a great “what not to do” read for anyone in the M&A space. My second book, ‘How to Beat Your Insurance Company’, has a bit of a misleading title (or a hook as my publisher called it). This one is mostly about the value of using a professional insurance representative or agent to get the best value in all insurance purchased.

My third book is ‘Tech-Enabled, Tech Forward, and Tech Shackled.’ This was a primer reflecting on how integrating tech in our industry should and should not be done. My fourth book, ‘Insurance Evolved’, is another very short primer on where I see our industry in 2025 — a date that is rapidly approaching. The content, though brief, is super thought-provoking.

Lastly, my fifth book is ‘Moments with Mucka.’ Though this one has not made it to number one yet, I hope that it will join the other publications one day. Moments with Mucka are about my firm RIGHTSURE and our journey to become a highly awarded workplace and technology firm. It includes my emails and memos from me to staff in our early days and discusses the operational, cash flow, and staffing issues that nearly every agency owner or insurance executive can relate to.
